12/30/06 & 1/6/07 -  BCFL Winter Football Camps Completed.

BCFL held two fund raising winter football camps.  The first camp was held on Dec 30th and was for 14 year olds and up.  The 2nd camp was held one week later and was held for 9 to 12 year olds.  Both NIke sponsored camps showcased former NFL players as coaches while professional sports performance coaches conducted athletic enhancement drills.

8/2/2006 - First Annual Blue Chips for Life Summer Football Camp is a Huge Success! Over 360 Volunteer Hours Accumulated from local Student Athletes

Social Leadership Class Sets Camp Apart From All Other Sports Camps
Police Captain David Hilderbrand the founder of Real World Leadership, Police Commander and former college football player, David Hilderbrand, conducted two classes for this years BCFL Football Leadership Camp. The class was focused on examining the "Athletic Code of Conduct" for student athletes. Making the right social decisions is part of becoming a leader.
