Blue Chips For Life, Inc. is committed to generating community involvement today, so
we can set leadership standards for our youth's future.

Blue Chips For Life, Inc. (BCFL), is a 501 (c)3, non-profit organization that uses advanced
level sport training to promote leadership building by teaching our youth the
importance of giving back to society. Our organization generates community involvement
by providing a venue for student athletes to utilize their social status in their
schools and communities to give back to their local areas.
The student athlete is our main focus. Student athletes benefit in several areas within
the BCFL program:
- How to be a leader...NOT a follower
- Character building experience by giving back to their community
- Opportunity to attend advanced instructional sport camps
- Opportunity to compete for college scholarships
- Build credibility for their college and employment resumes
Student athletes volunteer their time through the Blue Chip Volunteer
Program that is managed by the Heritage YMCA Group
.
BCFL Contributing sponsors donate a preset
dollar amount to us based on the amount of
hours volunteered by the student athletes.
Donated funds cover student athletes camp
registration fees and expenses to
premier Blue Chip sport camp.
Student athlete attends the
premier instructional sports camp of their sport.
Camp fees and all remaining funds generated
by the student athlete's efforts, minus BCFL expenses, are
donated to children's charities.
Our goal is to impact as many student athletes from each school system across the country (starting
with the Chicago area). The 2006 camps will be limited to football, however our 2007 camps we will look at including other sports to the mix. Ultimately, the
additional sport camps will be instrumental in helping us reach a wider group of student
athletes that will be giving back to their local communities.
Specific offices in each town will be contacted by BCFL for their approval and commitment to
this program. Mayors' offices, School District Superintendents, Athletic Directors and Head
Coaches are key advisors that will help drive this program in their communities. The student athletes give back to their communities by volunteering their time with the chosen non-for-profit organizations. Press release efforts will be made to all local media
within the student athlete's area to promote youth involvement within their community.
"Winning teams, companies and organizations don't typically have one or two leaders.....they have several."
